Next Generation Roleplay Server Rules:

1. Roleplay in every situation, its a Roleplay server.
2. Do not CHEAT / abuse exploits / bugs.
3. Do not deathmatch (DM), killing is alright if it's well roleplayed, however remember kill someone in real life is something serious, and you must act like if you were in the real life.
4. This is a english speaking server. Other languages are allowed in /pm and /b, however if you want to RP talking another language, just type the language you're speaking behind your sentence, example: "Daniel Samson: [Spanish] Hi, How are you?".
5. When you are In Game, you aren't in the real world, you're in a paralell world to ours, this means, be inventive when you talk about something like clothes, cars or anything. Example, instead of say "Hmm, I'm certainly gonna buy a new Ferrari, but which model? F430 or Enzo?" say "Hmm, I'm certainly gonna buy a new Grotti, but which model? Cheetah or Turismo?". You must get your self habituate to the GTA World. This rules is one of the most important one, if you have some problems to remember something about the GTA world, admins are here for that. Each violation will just result to a admin message from an admin.
5. Driveby as driver is not allowed, with exception of cops and passengers.
6. Do not use acronyms or abbreviations such as "OMG", "lmao", "lol", "w8", u" in any In Character chats, exepted when you're sending an SMS with your Cellphone though.
7. Do not use Smiley's in any In Character chats, exepted SMS that you send with your cellphone
8. Do not use DUAL guns. If you do, please immediatly fire them on a wall (As an OOCly action)
9. Do not revenge kill someone, if someone has killed or butallity wounded you, you are meant to forget everything about it.
10. Do not bunnyhop. Jumping like a bunny to go somewhere faster is very unrealistic
11. Do not PM admins In-Game about suggestions, reports, unbans use the forum is here for this.
12. Do not abuse or spam the /report and /re commands.



City of Saints Roleplay Forum Rules:



1. No flaming, insulting others.
2. Do not make off topic posts.
3. If you have a question, search first before posting, it may be answered already.
4. Do not Advert other servers here.
5. No spamming.
6. Do not speak any other languages than English on the forum.
7. Keep the size of signatures respectable. No huge images.
8. Some forums have specials rules, please respect them.
9. Do not post in the "Wongly banned" section unless you have something important to say about it.
10. Breaking Forum rules will end in a temporarily or permanently ban, it depends of the kind of rules broken.
12. Admin instructions are final, regardless of if they are stated in the rules.
13. Keep your signatures short. 6 lines maximum
14. Do not post stupid videos or screeshots (scat-porn, murders, etc) on the forums, it will result to a permanent ban both In-Game and on the forum.
15. Don't talk about any other Role-Playing server, this forum is about the City Of Saints Server.



OOC/IC Information:

While in game, you'll hear about OOC and IC these worlds must be familiar to you, before you get in the server, or you'll certainly get punished by admins.


IC - In Character

This is a RP (RolePlay)server, in real life, you are just someone sitting behind your PC, playing. However in game you are playing a character in a world in where you are meant to act vividly. Try to be someone normal, and not always a stupid gangster. Don't forget killing in real life is something very serious, so act like if this was in this game too.

To speak to other characters nearby you just typing normally without any command, or by using "/l <Message>"(when on a phone)
There are some other way to speak IC in game, you'll quickly find them out while in game.

Whilst speaking in any of these forms, do not use accronyms or smilies like lol, wtf, omg, etc or :O :S , doing so will result in any or all of the following. Admin jail, kicks from server or bans from the server (eventually).


OOC - Out Of Character

OOC is used when you are not RPing, when you, as a person sitting behind your PC want to talk to others NOT as your character. Again there are a few ways to do this. "(( [Text] ))" represents an OOC chat.

Private Message to anyone on the server, all you do is find their ID (by doing "/ID <name>") and typing "/pm <ID> <Message>"
Local OOC is done by typing "/b <Message>" this will send a message to players around you, but will include ((Message)) brackets around what you said, to indicate its not to be use for roleplay.
Global OOC (server wide OOC) is done by simply doing "/o <Message>" The colour of the text for any type of OOC is a different colour, and includes the double brackets to identify it as OOC.


So, the basic rule is, if its your character saying something use an IC method, if its you as a person, use an OOC method. Can be tricky to get used to but it helps the RP along.

NOTE - do not use OOC information for IC purposes.

If you have get any informations in any OOC chat, don't use them ICly cause your character don't even know this. This is called OOC/IC mixing and it will result by jails or bans if it's done many times.
